Your tour will be led by a local professional guide. Depending on availability, a friend from our network may also join. These friends, who have lived abroad or are currently overseas, offer a unique perspective, bridging the traveler's and destination's worlds. Well-traveled and full of personal insights, they help deepen connections, making the journey feel like an adventure shared with friends.

A detailed packing list recommendation will be sent before departure, but key essentials include comfortable hiking shoes for mountain trails, lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, and a warm jacket for cooler mountain evenings. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are essential for sun protection. A refillable water bottle is highly recommended, and a small daypack will be useful for daily adventures. Be sure to pack swimwear and a beach towel for water activities. For hiking or camping, consider packing trekking poles and extra layers for high-altitude activities. Additionally, pack regular casual clothes for exploring cities like Almaty and Bishkek. It's also recommended to bring any personal medications and a basic first aid kit for the duration of the tour.

The local currencies in Central Asia are Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT), Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS), and Uzbekistani Som (UZS). While credit cards are commonly accepted in cities, cash is preferred in smaller towns and rural areas. We recommend carrying some USD or EUR for easier exchange (more detailed recommendation will be provided before departure). For daily expenses, budgeting around $30–$70 per day should be sufficient, though this will depend on your personal travel style.
You'll get to taste authentic Central Asian cuisine, from fresh-baked bread and traditional plov to mountain-sourced dairy and grilled meats. We also include modern and international options in select locations.
We do our best to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs—just let us know in advance. However, options may be limited in some remote areas.
